Femicide and criminalization.

Abstract

It has taken a long time for crimes against women to be considered as such and, therefore, to become part of criminal codes. This is explained by the historical discrimination to which patriarchy has subjected women since its inception. For the above mentioned, this article reviews the typification of the crime in international and national law.
