Legal protection of the environment and social responsibility. A look from the preservation of natural resources in the Andean alley.

Abstract

This research addresses the issue of environmental legal protection of resources in the Callejón Andino, and for this, the method used was mixed in order to achieve a more reliable approach with respect to social responsibility. The general objective declared was to determine the relationship between legal protection and social responsibility in the Callejón Andino, Ecuador to measure if the environmental legislation really tempers the level of social commitment and sensitivity to nature. A statistical reliability test is performed on the instruments developed through Cronbach's alpha, descriptive statistics are used for the analysis of the variables involved and inferential statistics for the correlation of variables and frequency distribution.
