On the planetary disaster: the Anthropocene and its political question.
Abstract
The article develops a reflection on the problem of disasters and its politics based on the notion of the Anthropocene and the catastrophic scenario it refers to, especially threatening to the Western way of life. A network of global and Latin American narratives is presented as responses to what is identified as the most radical philosophical-political question posed: "what to do" in the face of growing disasters, considering that the "subject" of modern action and freedom it is a fundamental part of the problem. Thus, the elaboration of an imagination about other ways of being of politics is exposed, from theoretical aspects that seek to displace and overcome the subject as the only agency pole, as well as to geopolitically stress this problem.
