Abstract

In no case should self-medication be carried out, for which educational strategies were developed to prevent self-medication and its adverse effects as part of the complications in young adults, where the various investigations were analyzed and it was evidenced that there are some cases about said self-medication. trouble. The qualitative and quantitative modalities were used to complement and have a broad context, taking into account exploratory, descriptive and correlational research. In the results, 76% of the adult population chose to self-medicate, one of the complications was the dependence they have on the drugs they have ingested in 47%, implying health risks due to ignorance of the drugs.
