Need for education in NOM-034-SSA-2004 in a tertiary hospital in Mexico City in the implementation of pre-hospital care.

Abstract

This research refers to the documentation derived from the transfer in pre-hospital care in a tertiary hospital in Mexico City, the service sheet represents a professional and legal responsibility provided in the Official Mexican Standard NOM-034-SSA- 2004; Health services regulation. Pre-hospital care for medical emergencies. The study design was quantitative and descriptive. The results obtained from the service sheets in prehospital care during 2019 were a total of 170 services, of which only 65 (43.3%) were performed. The results show the need for an educational intervention to generate a service sheet that complies with the provisions of NOM-034-SSA-2004.
