Contributions on self-concept and self-esteem. It is never too late to accept yourself.
Abstract
Talking about self-concept or self-esteem can be a bit tricky, since it involves a psychological aspect of the person where not everyone likes who they are, who they are, and even what their inner Self means in their life and environment; However, in adolescence, this process of self-knowledge and acceptance can mean great problems and even existential crises from which not everyone manages to get out well. However, regardless of the process of its study, seen from a unidimensional or multidimensional measure, the results are very revealing in several senses, highlighting in this article the importance of the educational field as a fundamental element of guidance for the adolescent.
