Learning for citizenship in childhood: development and validation of a measurement instrument.
Abstract
Having people capable of fully exercising their citizenship is of utmost importance, since they can contribute to the general improvement of their environment; for this reason, it is important to have tools that allow diagnosing and monitoring the strategies implemented for the formation of citizenship from childhood. The creation, validation, and application of the learning instrument for citizenship (iac) is presented. The results show that it is a valid and reliable instrument and a useful tool for boys and girls from 6 to 12 years old. The results are analyzed based on kohlberg's theory.
