Abstract
At present, the promotion of reading the literary text is aimed at forming the reading habit in students and integrating them in the different socio-cultural contexts where they interact; motivate them to experience reading activity from pleasure, to develop reading behavior in them. This article constitutes the scientific result of a doctoral thesis and its objective is to design a pedagogical strategy for the promotion of reading the literary text that favors the development of reading behavior in students of the Bachelor of Education Spanish-Literature career.
