Bioeconomy an alternative for Mexico. Bibliometric analysis to the Web of Science.

Abstract

The bioeconomy in many countries strongly inspires its study, it is considered an alternative to the need for more sustainable sources of employment, effectively taking advantage of biomass, a product derived from the residues of forest resources. The objective of this research is to provide information about the current state of the bioeconomy and the opportunities it offers to the Mexican territory. The inquiry went to the Web of Science, using “Bioeconomy” as the keyword, the study element considered the scientific article, the temporality period was opened in order to have a broad vision of the experience of its analysis. The review warns of a need for research with clearer information on the opportunities of the bioeconomy in Mexico.
