Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the characteristics of the young population that attends government programs in Ecuador to generate entrepreneurship as an alternative for progress, in order to identify the elements that influence reaching the required financing. A cross-sectional descriptive research was applied with a sample of 128 young entrepreneurs from four provinces of Ecuador. Through a survey, it was concluded that experience in the activity, knowledge of the market and the definition of the type of investment are decisive when obtaining adequate financing.
