Abstract

A field investigation was carried out through surveys aimed at legal professionals for an analysis of the social and legal situation that children and adolescents who are exploited at work are going through, a situation that merits the establishment of new public policies. The results showed that there are still statistics that reflect levels of child labor, and it is that they not only represent the reality of exploitation and abuse suffered by the girls and boys who are victims, but also unravel a critical reality, the possible dehumanization of society. It is concluded that a public policy is required that delves into the problem, its causes, current status, as well as recommendations to be taken into account by the State.
