Felicidad en estudiantes universitarios y su relación con diversas variables.
Abstract
Within Positive Psychology, various investigations have been developed on happiness in university students, who have characteristics of a happy person. The present quantitative study with a non-experimental design aims to analyze the relationship between happiness with various variables in 446 Mexican university students. Positive and significant correlations were found between self-esteem with life satisfaction, optimism, and a positive sense of life. The findings obtained can be used in the development of guidance and counseling programs that promote the promotion of happiness and other associated variables to improve adaptation to university life, academic performance, interpersonal relationships and, in short, quality of life of the students.
