Abstract

Currently, basic-level Mexican schools teach subjects such as English and French. This descriptive documentary research presents a meticulous work of collection, analysis, emptying and reflection of information obtained from primary and secondary sources with a comparison between the teaching of both languages, taking as reference the following priori categories: Teaching methods / models, multimedia content, certification processes, support programs, and national public policies. The foregoing allowed us to know the lack of regulations that currently exist in Mexico for the regulation of the teaching of foreign languages, especially French, and in contrast, show that there are multiple scholarships for the study of Mexicans abroad.
