Necessary reflections about recreational activities to benefit the quality of life in institutionalized older adults.
Abstract
This article aims to present part of a research aimed at designing a program of recreational activities to improve the quality of life of institutionalized older adults. During the development of the program, topics of interest will be addressed that help to interpret the essence of recreational activities in aging; The current problem will be analyzed to provide new expectations for the knowledge of the biopsychosocial development of the elderly. A quantitative correlational, quasi-experimental methodological design will be presented; The information collected through the instruments will be processed in a database for statistical analysis, in order to verify whether the application of the program of activities is relevant.
