Intellectual skills and emotional competences in the learning of students at the pre-university center of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
Abstract
Intellectual skills constitute premises for the formation of skills and professional competencies necessary for university graduates to be able to efficiently assume, from their position as professionals, the direction of processes related to their modes and spheres of action with comprehensive performance. The present study has as general objective: to determine the relationship that exists between intellectual abilities and emotional competences in the learning achievement of the students of the Pre-university Center of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. The main results show the existence of significant relationships between intellectual abilities, emotional competencies, and as well as the dimensions of both, with the achievement of student learning.
