Learning Styles in face-to-face settings in UAEMex Gerontology undergraduate students.

Abstract

The objective of the research was: To determine the learning styles in face-to-face settings in bachelor's degree in Gerontology at UAEMex. It is a descriptive, cross-sectional study with a universe made up of 162 students and probabilistic sampling with informed consent, applying the Honey-Alonso CHAEA Learning Styles assessment instrument. The results according to the learning styles, 90% of the students have a theoretical learning, 85% pragmatic; active with 80%, and finally the reflective with 62.5%. It is concluded that learning styles are diverse, so they must be addressed, planned and responded to the demands of learning itself in order to meet the goals and objectives of the curriculum.
