Abstract

In this paper, politics and human rights are approached as allies and not as rivals. The following topics are presented: Society as creator of the political organization of the state, the legal creation of the Mexican state, the activity of the State and its focus on satisfying the needs of society, the work of public policy on the human right to a minimum vital, state policies regarding the protection of the human right to health, state policies regarding the human right to personal safety and integrity, and public policies regarding human rights enshrined in international treaties.
