Abstract

The choice of the Petro Case is justified due to the relevance of the issue in all its phases, also, its importance lies in the fact that it details the process of violation of rights and the struggle to restore them of the affected person. Thus, the main objective of this text is to show the positive work carried out by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, for which an extensive bibliographic, normative and jurisprudence inquiry was made. As a result of this, it has been concluded that, first, administrative law was used as a tool for political retaliation, second, the Colombian State ruled the citizen, it is concluded that the instance of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights works in the claim of rights.
