Strategic plan for the tourist development of the “Pechi” forest in Colorados del Búa commune, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas province.

Abstract

This work shows the need to design a strategic plan for the tourism development of the “Pechi” forest in the Colorados del Búa commune. The strategic plan was supported by a classic and updated biography, using qualitative and quantitative methodology, and the use of techniques and instruments allowed the collection of data that served to identify the weaknesses of the sector. Also with the application of field research it was possible to be connected with the reality of the situation in which the forest is located, knowing its needs. Through the use of different analyzes, it was determined that with the implementation of a strategic plan the forest would obtain benefits.
