Analysis of the economic situation of taxi drivers due to COVID-19 in the Echeandía canton.

Abstract

In Ecuador, the COVID-19 pandemic caused a health, social and economic crisis from the moment public transport was paralyzed, among other sectors. The objective of this work was to carry out an analysis of the economic impact caused by covid-19 in taxi drivers in Echeandía. A descriptive investigation was applied in mixed modality. Bibliographic research was carried out, using the technique of the survey to the members of the company 13 de Agosto S.A, Agostacom S.A. It was concluded that the pandemic has caused a notable decrease in the income of taxi drivers, affecting the company's liquidity.
