Abstract

Seeing the end of confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic poses a situation in which the millennial generation (born between 1980 - 2000) represents an important segment for the reactivation of travel and tourism; The objective of this research is to understand the perceptions, motivations and desires of people who demographically correspond to this generation; For which, it develops a qualitative research of descriptive scope, which through the interview technique has compiled data that allow to conclude that millennials conceive tourism as a liberating dimension, linked to their beliefs and values; therefore, as soon as the restrictions end, it will strongly boost the reactivation of this sector of the economy.
