University research: A review of the purposes, lines of research and social bonding.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the quality of university research from a conception of its purposes, lines of research and social ties in Peru. It was generated from a descriptive documentary vision, supported by a bibliographic design, using the analytical-synthetic method. The importance of effectively managing science, technology and technological innovation (STI) contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of the generating country. Research for the purpose of innovation and social technological transformation in Peru begins the transition to a process where research is generated in social bonding, with regulations disconnected from that need.
