Abstract
The changes that are taking place on a worldwide level, together with the global health crisis, require countries to guarantee sustainable Health Systems. In Cuba, despite the development achieved in the sector that makes it possible to respond to the demands of the population, work is being done to ensure that quality standards do not decrease. This article seeks to socialize the central elements in the design and implementation of a model for the management of educational and professional guidance from the local medical university. It contextualizes the need for research and systematizes the theoretical bases that lead to an orientation management model that makes employers responsible for the success of the continuity between education-training and employment.
