Doctoral training in times of pandemic. Experiences.
Abstract
The Universidad de Oriente in Santiago de Cuba (UO), has several doctoral programs, including the Doctorate in Educational Sciences, accredited of Excellence for the quality of its training management and the results achieved over several decades. As of March 2020, with the detection of the first case of COVID-19 in Cuba, the country activated its strategies to confront the pandemic; The UO also specified its strategies for continuing undergraduate and graduate studies. This article presents the experiences of the UO's Doctorate in Educational Sciences, based on the actions defined, which have allowed the Program to advance significantly with its sustained Excellence towards new educational goals.
