Abstract

The importance of writing and pronouncing correctly, as well as the constant exercise of recreational reading, literary compositions and spelling practices, generate spelling awareness, positively improving learning and academic training. The student must know and master the spelling rules based on a system of practices developed properly and that allows him to understand and consciously internalize the learning of the different subjects; That is why this work focuses on analyzing and determining the level of knowledge and mastery of the spelling rules, Second Grade students of the Secondary Education Level of the Experimental College of Application of the National University of Education Enrique Guzmán and Valle.
