Teaching performance and formative research in university students.
Abstract
The research shows the degree of relationship between teaching performance and research training in students at the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education, Lima, Peru. It is a descriptive study applied to a sample of 242 students from said university. In data collection, a questionnaire with response parameters from the Likert scale was used. Based on Cronbach's Alpha test, the instruments used to measure the reliability of the variables teaching performance and research training showed indices of 0.960 and 0.932, respectively. Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient was 0.663, with evidence of a high positive correlation. The findings corroborate that teaching performance is significantly related to research training.
