Abstract

The general objective of the research was to understand the characteristics of the contributions to the development of the country of the graduates of the National University of Education (UNE) of the decades 50-80. The effects of politics and the pedagogical significance of the comprehensive curriculum developed by the university in more than three decades were studied, training university professionals in education and outstanding in other areas (Science and Culture). The research method was case study and autobiographical. The research was qualitative ethnographic, with intentional sampling, and a population made up of informants representative of the promotions. Participant observation and focused interview were used. It was concluded that Cantuta contributed fully trained graduates at the service of various realities of the country.
