Abstract

The study aims to identify the physical performance and the kinanthropometric characteristics of students of Primary and Secondary Education. To meet the proposed objective, an analysis of height and weight and physical performance of the schoolchildren was carried out. The levels of physical and techno-motor performance were also studied, according to gender, the ages of elementary school from 6 to 12 years old, and secondary age from 12 to 16 years old. The central hypothesis was to determine if physical performance is homogeneous in students in relation to age and gender. The study identified that physical performance varies significantly in relation to gender and shows growth depending on the age of the schoolchildren.
