The Botanical Garden of the National University of Education (UNE): a space for the development of research activities of Ecology content and the Science and Environment Area.

Abstract

The research developed a proposal from the Botanical Garden of the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education, as a research area where a series of didactic itineraries will be developed as a methodological and integrative strategy for teaching content in the subject of ecology and environment and guides for Regular Basic Education at the primary and secondary level of educational institutions. The environmental volunteer program was implemented, the regulations and profile of the environmental promoter were prepared to support the guided visits to the University's botanical garden; likewise, a pilot project for the teaching and development of ecological alternatives such as composting.
