Online tutoring. General considerations.

Abstract

Online tutoring is based solely on the tutor-machine interaction, it is a purely virtual operation, communication is facilitated by a tutor who acts as an intermediary between the tutor and the machine. Distance tutoring falls within the framework of online training activities that help and accompany learners in their learning process. It is an activity aimed at an apprentice or a whole group, which aims at the personal and social development of the tutors. The latter become responsible for their own training. The tutor equips the apprentice with strategies to get the best out of her training.
