Occupational segregation and college women as seen through self-concept clarity and gender equity in pandemic times.
Abstract
The objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between labor gender segregation and the self-concept of university women seen through the times of the pandemic. The methodology is of a correlational statistical nature, using a second-order structural model with SmartPLS 3, with data from the application of surveys to 123 young university students from an International Business career in the state of Tamaulipas. In the findings, it is found that the perception of gender labor segregation in university women significantly affects their self-concept, and likewise, university students with a greater workload at home because they are women have a greater tendency to perceive labor segregation.
