Adverse effects post-application of COVID 19 vaccines in students from the health area of the Colombian Atlantic coast.
Abstract
COVID-19 affected the well-being and economy of communities. Vaccination as a prevention strategy gave hope to the world population, but the myths surrounding the adverse effects supposedly attributable to it are an obstacle to achieving herd immunity. In this regard, it was considered to determine the occurrence of adverse effects after the application of COVID 19 vaccines to students in the health area of the Colombian Atlantic coast, through a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational investigation. The adverse effects found were mild and resolved shortly after their appearance, mostly did not lead to seeking medical attention and after immunization, there were few cases of contagion of the disease.
