Digital trends: application diagnosis in SMEs in the City of Machala, Ecuador Post-pandemic.
Abstract
Globalization and constant innovation in the commercial sector have resulted in new businesses having to adapt to the constant changes that are the result of a process of digitization of the economy. This work arises from the need for SMEs in the city of Machala to adapt a digital model to improve their competitiveness and sales. The main objective of this project is to diagnose the degree of application of digital trends in commercial SMEs in the city of Machala during the period 2020-2021. The data collected through a survey applied to SMEs in the city of Machala and show the perspective they have on the adaptation of these innovations.
