Rare earths and their potential in the National Educational System.

Abstract

The present investigation, of an exploratory nature, makes us know the wide possibilities of using rare earths for the production of technological devices, for ICTs, defense, medicine and nanotechnology, being interesting that our country has minerals within the high diversity in nature, assuming rare metals, all based on the implementation of technological development plants, leadership that should begin in the academy, in the area of technologies and focused on electronics, telecommunications and information technology, that could be expanded into mechanics and robotics, sports sciences, pedagogy, as well as archeology and basic sciences at the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University.
