Abstract

The research is in San José de Secce in the province of Huanta-Ayacucho, a benchmark for being a rural-urban study point. The research describes the analysis of the perception of the standard of living and poverty in rural Peru due to COVID-19. Three different groups are analyzed, and to obtain the participants, a random sampling was carried out with the application of the interview and participant observation. It was sought to reflect the prevalence in points such as education and mental disorders with a result of 39.4% that show the standard of living in rural areas. Policies must be implemented that promote poverty reduction with work and farm stability.
