Beliefs of the students of the Bachelor in Physical Culture and Sports about the impact of professional exercise on body weight control.
Abstract
The objective was to describe the beliefs of the students of the Bachelor in Physical Culture and Sports about the participation they will have as future professionals to influence the control of body weight with people who are overweight and obese. The study was exploratory with a descriptive scope and a non-experimental design, following a quantitative approach. It was found that over 50% of the students do not believe that they will have a relevant professional participation in influencing weight control, showing that they do not consider that they could be a determining factor in reducing this situation.
