Educational intervention from physiotherapy in times of COVID-19 in Ecuador; a contribution from the scientific and human area.

Abstract

COVID-19 has claimed numerous human lives. In addition, it has affected the proper functioning of educational centers. In this scenario, the implementation of teaching tools with the use of information technologies constitutes a novel proposal. The objective of the research is to develop an educational intervention from physiotherapy to approach patients with COVID-19 in Ecuador. The scope of the study is descriptive, with a longitudinal experimental design and a quantitative approach. We worked with a sample of n=54 students, to whom a pre-test evaluation instrument, an educational intervention and a post-test evaluation instrument were applied. The results obtained showed a significant increase in the level of student learning.
