Analysis of the public records of the disappearances of migrants in the state of Tamaulipas in the period 2010-2020.

Abstract

The disappearance of migrants has represented one of the most recurrent forms of violence, a constant and systematic violation of human rights. The highest numbers of these disappearances are concentrated in the northern part of Mexico. This study analyzes the frequencies of cases of missing migrants with a foreign nationality, in the period between January 2010 and December 2020, where the different nationalities with a tendency to present a greater number of victims and the recidivism of the victims are determined. municipalities within the state of Tamaulipas, where these disappearances have occurred.
