Digital competences in university professors of Exact Sciences facing the change to virtuality.
Abstract
The objective of the research was to analyze the digital skills in university professors of Exact Sciences in the face of a change from face-to-face to virtual education, according to the perception of the students of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua. The research was carried out from November 2020 to October 2021, of a transversal, quantitative, applied and non-experimental type. The questionnaire applied was to a sample of 791 students, obtaining bivariate Pearson correlations and the KMO test with a value of 0.94, having a significance of 0.000 in the chi square test. It was found that 40% of teachers have an advanced level of digital competence, and that digital communication is positively influencing student learning.
