Academic stress from COVID - 19 in engineering students: a post-pandemic look.
Abstract
The effects of the pandemic in different areas: personal, professional and social, must be identified in order to mitigate them. Among them, the stress experienced by all people, and of course, by university students, occupies an important place; Therefore, the main objective of this work was to analyze, from the experiences of students from different engineering careers, the effects of the pandemic on mental health, manifested in academic stress. A non-experimental cross-sectional design was used, through a questionnaire and compositions. The results obtained show the main causes of stress, among which those of an academic nature stand out. The coincidence with studies of different educational levels and other contexts is notorious.
