Career choice of new students to the Bachelor of Environmental Sciences.
Abstract
The objective of the research was to identify the factors that influence the career choice of new students to the Bachelor of Environmental Sciences at the Autonomous University of Guerrero. The study method was mixed and cross-sectional. The results show that most of the students wanted to study other careers than the Bachelor of Environmental Sciences. The predominant factors are: "personal taste", "by family influence", "by employment", "by vocational orientation", and by "vocation to study". In conclusion, in general it is evident that there is no analysis or reflection on the relevance of their decision to study their professional career in young people.
