Technostress in high school students in the face of the SAR-CoV-2 virus pandemic.
Abstract
The outbreak of the pandemic caused by the SAR-CoV-2 virus and its multiple variants has had consequences in the education sector. Through a sample of high school students located in Mexico City, their technostress was analyzed based on the person-environment adjustment model. It was found that for the three factors that determine it, there is a difference according to the sex of the students. It was also found that according to the semester completed by the respondents, there is only a difference in the factor related to maladjustment between people when using technology. Finally, it was determined that the highest levels of technostress correspond to male students and those who were in the sixth semester.
