What results to expose and present in the act of oral defense of a doctoral thesis.

Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of the written notes for the exhibition and the electronic presentations of the first three scientific tasks in the act of oral defense of the doctoral thesis in a sample of graduates from the area of knowledge of Education Sciences, defended in the province of Granma, Cuba, in the period from 2016 to 2020. The study is qualitative, retrospective, cross-sectional and observational, inscribed in the interpretive paradigm to reveal the understanding, explanation and interpretation of the definitions of the concepts of fact scientific and scientific result. The results show that in the act of oral defense of the doctoral thesis, the scientific facts are exposed and presented, but not the concrete scientific results.
