Abstract

The analysis of several articles describes femicide and the circumstances that aggravate the legal situation of the defendant who commits this crime and how to protect the right to the inviolability of life established in the Constitution. The purpose of the investigation was to implement an aggravating circumstance in the state of pregnancy in a woman victim of femicide. Ecuador is a Constitutional State of Rights and Justice with several laws for the protection of women, however, in recent years it has increased. Inductive, deductive, analytical and synthetic methods were used. The solution is a project to reform article 142 of the Organic Integral Penal Code.
