Abstract

The objective of this research work is to identify contents for the enrichment of the curricular design of the medical career about the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Information was collected from databases, international medical bulletins, magazines and records. ALL is a complex disease, a rapidly growing cancer of lymphoid cells in the bone marrow that, with prompt diagnosis accompanied by effective treatment, would improve the quality of life of patients.
