Contents for family education on the importance of stimuli in breastfeeding for the prevention of dysgnathia.
Abstract
This research aims to develop content for family education on the influence of stimulation in breastfeeding in the establishment or prevention of dysgnathia. Highly relevant scientific academic bases were used, including a total of 28 articles selected for analysis. With the results obtained, it was possible to determine a set of essential ideas to carry out family education, on the preventive role that breastfeeding plays against dysgnathia, associating it with a longer duration than the six months recommended by the WHO. The most important stimuli within this finding were sucking and muscle activity generated during breastfeeding.
