Violation of the rights of girls, adolescents, and women through genital mutilation.

Abstract

Female genital mutilation that intentionally and for non-medical reasons, injures the external female genital organs with serious effects on the health and life of girls and women; Likewise, it is constituted as a violation of their human rights and a form of gender-based violence attacking protected legal rights. The methods that were used in the present investigation were the deductive and the inductive, this practice is not carried out in our state by our communities or towns, but the migratory currents would make plausible the violation of the personal integrity of the women, which is found in the country within these migratory contexts.
