The lack of legitimate links between non-recognized countries and UN member states.
Abstract
The article analyzed the questions of the legal personality of unrecognized states, and the correlation of two universal principles of international relations: the right of nations to self-determination and the territorial integrity of the state. The lack of legitimate and comprehensive links between unrecognized countries and UN member states continues to be a problem not only for those countries, but for the international community. A documentary study was carried out from a qualitative perspective, and as results data are collected that show the reasons for the emergence of unrecognized states, conditions for international recognition as a legal and political act.
