The COVID-19 pandemic, since its appearance worldwide, can represent a danger for the reactivation of Herpes Zoster, because when suffering from COVID-19 there is a decline in the immune system and a quantitative decrease associated with T lymphocytes, particularly CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, and natural killer (NK) cells; that is why, during the pandemic, skin manifestations have been detailed, which are related to COVID-19. The objective of this work is to reveal content for the training of specialists on the relationship between COVID-19 and Herpes Zoster, taking into account its complications and possible treatments.
