Abstract

The investigation process should be refined gradually. There are few registered case studies of trisomies to date, which means a very large gap in genetic research. Chromosomal diseases represent a high degree of incidence in the world. Chromosomal disorders such as trisomies affect the entire population in general, among the rarest trisomies worldwide are: Trisomy (t) of chromosome 17p, t 10p, t 20p and mosaic t 9. Trisomy 20p and mosaic trisomy 9 achieved a global prevalence equivalent to 1 positive case per 1,000,000 live births and <1 per 1,000,000 live births.
